Firstly, the player ratings are ridiculous after another tepid display. Fans who didn't make the trip will think, based on your ratings of 6 or 7's, that we did well? We didn't.
Then there's NR's comments...Does he really believe we are getting better? Do you Paul Davis agree with him? If you honestly do then my idea of what an improving team is and yours clearly differ. If you disagree why not ask him why he believes that, as a journey, surely it's your job to ask the searching questions.
NR claims that we looked a good side? How did he arrive at such a conclusion. Come on Mr R, against woeful opposition, did you really think we looked a good side? What do you think Paul? Because, if, like me, you disagree why not put it to him?
Whilst I do think that this wasn't our poorest performance in this season of woe, it was our most disappointing and one that leaves us, barring a miracle, League One bound.

I thought we were pretty good Axholme. Bolton have lost three home games out of fifteen in the league this season. It was never going to be easy. We deserved at least a point. We were better than Bolton. It is a real kick in the teeth that we got nothing, but it wasn't for lack of effort. The big turning point was when Shinnie missed a sitter with twenty minutes or so to go when we were right on top. I think Bolton were on the ropes at that point and if we had gone in front we might have seen a replay of the NYS game when they collapsed. We missed a golden chance at a crucial time, where good teams put them away, and we got punished badly for it.
All a matter of opinions and I'm afraid, given the opposition, I though overall we were poor. I wasn't aware of their results, but despite having a reasonable home record, although I'm not sure they've actually won many, Bolton are surely the poorest team in the league by a long way!
We have absolutely no cutting edge and every time the opposition gets forward our defence looks all over the place. Look at that first goal? I agree that there was effort there but looking at the game and that Shinnie miss, we were on top but had hardly tested their keeper. Shinnie, I thought, had a good game up to that point by the way.
He tired badly after that and I'm sure I wasn't the only one of the travelling support that wondered why NR failed to substitute him. It was as if we were playing with ten men towards the end of the game!
My point is that NR, in my opinion, badly managed the game. If we had gone for it and brought on an extra forward mid point of the second half I'm quite certain we'd have won easily. They were a spent force.
It did look from where I was sitting that NR was playing for a draw? Bizarre given the importance of the game, which I feel might ultimately cost us our place in the Championship.
Why no midfield attacking option on the bench? Ledesma would have been an ideal replacement for Burke, not Green. NR has two very big favourites in Green and D Ward. One of whom is way past his sell by date and the other too inconsistent and injury prone.
All a matter of opinion of course. I'll be there again at the weekend but I'm really struggling to see where another win is coming from.
