This transfer window has been very encouraging when you consider the holes in the squad that required shoring up and the financial constraints that NR is apparently under. He has addressed what I considered to be our weakest area - midfield creativity and with Shinnie and Burke we should now see greater penetration and hopefully goals from the MF. He now has options in defence and up front which should all contribute to the quality of the squad and performances. He's also sticking by his youth promise by bringing in Dawson.

For the first time in a while I can see the sense in our signings and a 'plan'. Good work NR and I hope you get the reward you deserve for your thoughtful acquisitions! We now need to give him the support and time he needs to develop this squad into Championship material.
