Redfearn wasnt my first choice to be honest, mainly because I didnt know anything about him except that he'd played for Barnsley, but Millers fans being Millers fans seemed to expect miracles almost immediately and when that didnt happen there was some pretty nasty things posted about him. I felt sorry for the bloke at times and was embarrassed by the vitriol hurled at him, for that I wanted him to do well not just for the club but for himself and to spite his detractors.
I think he's coming good, even the games lost (Ipswich aside) we were playing better, playing more football as a unit rather than as individuals despite the bit of bad luck such as at Preston. The line on the graph is starting to go up. WE've had some awful bad luck with injuries to key players at key moments and the budget as it is demands we can only at times put out a scratch side as a result, but what I can see now is they are a team, a squad of players who are gelling together and having self belief.
A long way to go, but we have proved we can take on the top clubs and compete, that being the case there is no reason to think we cant survive. I like Redfearn I think he is doing a good job in difficult cir***stances
TBH, people need to get off Redfearn's back & let him get on with the job, although a few decent bits of business this month will improve our chances of staying in the Championship no end.
