column c) Loan players we are letting go
column d) Loan players we are keeping/extending
column e) Injured players we are waiting to get fit and keeping
column f) Anyone who is not in column a to e and what the **** are they doing at the club?
I was thinking to myself yesterday, IF we sign Becchio and he was fit enough to play, and IF we got Best fit, I would be very very happy with that as a front two, supported by D Ward when fit (and what a front two that would be to start in league 1 even if we didn't stay up) .... so like someone said above, we wish them well to get fit and playing in a Millers shirt for the rest of the season...
(It's not that simple though is it, it never is with the Millers...)

not quite sure why d o c u m e n t gets *** in it, except some mod has obviously listed the 'Come' word as some sort of auto edit, but shouldn't be so when in the middle of a normal word?? :)
Other thing with Best and Becchio (if signs) , I'd love to think we have learned some lessons on contracts.
If we get one or both fit, their contracts need to be permanent ones, maybe two years, but with caveats about injuries and games played, so a) we don't get them fit, playing well then just lose them to another club without a fee, and b) they have a financial incentive to play and do well.
Surely someone at the club has some nous?? (maybe not)
They'll probably get a contract that guarantees them an extra year when they've played a prescribed number of games.
After all it worked really well in Lewis Buxton's case. Oh...
Im more and more turned off longer term contracts.
Arguably we didnt gain anything from anyone on a 2-2.5 yr contract over the last 4 seasons. None of them have gone anywhere for money but some have not played much over their contracts. Even those we as a club valued only moved on at the end of their contracts because no one was willing to part with case while under contract.
If we get a very good player then the bigger clubs will come and get them straight away-they wont risk losing them and then having to compete with bigger fish.
