That performance must surely prove to all the knockers that we are good enough to stay up.

its like its been since we came up isnt it and also continued under Redfern.

I have been one of his critics but also pointed out he has shown flashes of outstanding tactical know-how and ability to motivate.

its consistency that the poorer teams lack.

And that 451 can work. And that Redfearn is not a complete idiot. Wait until our next defeat and it will turn again. It is possible to play well and lose and to play poorly and win. I thought the Wolves and Blackburn games could have gone either way and we were unlucky to lose them both. Today we got the breaks and were on the right end of it. That is how tight games can be and fans are incredibly fickle. They pan the team if we lose a tight game and overdo the optimism if we win one. I wish we could be more level headed. We have been playing better recently, Huddersfield apart. We are more competitive. Redfearn still has a lot of work to do in January but there is some hope.

it was a great result but if we lose on boxing day it is worth nothing really. We need to play with as much passion and desire on boxing day get 3 points and then hopefully get at least a draw from the following two games, a minimum of 6 points from the next 4 games to stand a chance is still required, it is a game of maths now we need to aimed for 6 points every 4 games, that will keep us up and allow to miss that target every cycle as it is 36 points only gives us 4 points grace for the magical 50 points, so lets not carried away just yet

We only need 40 points if the bottom 3 are 39 and below. We need to pick our battles, if the team can't, and which one can, perform at Saturday's level then we need to target the bottom 8 clubs, wins against these teams will keep us up. We only have a small squad so they have to be used wisely.

you mean target teams like huddersfield and don't expect anything against teams in the top 6 like hull.confuse

And at home just like last season will be where its decided. Win 11 at home and you're mostly there
