Overall we did ok, deserved a draw really, as usual these big clubs just have a bit more class that makes the difference. I think Collins at CB meant we would always struggle with crosses, he wins headers coming up the field but crosses he very rarely gets a header on, mainly because his positioning is poor and that drags other players out of position. JCH had a poor game, didn't seem interested at all, yes their defence played him well but it was the lack of effort closing players down trying to get possession back, very strange. Positives for me, was the amazing double save from Camp, without him we would concede a lot more goals, Broadfoot had a great game. Derbyshire scored and the midfield wasn't that bad
A tight, closely fought game. Toffolo (I think) asleep for the first goal. Another slow start. Everyone asleep for the second goal on the stroke of half time and Camp rooted to his line as he often is. He stays on his line while the opposition get headers in from inside the six yard box. It happened a few times today. Second half we huffed and puffed but lacked a cutting edge. Overall not a bad performance and we deserved a point. Pluses - G Ward again and I like the look of Hyam. Minuses - poor goals to concede at bad times and a lack of creativity. Big minus - supporters. We were competitive against a decent Championship side in horrible conditions, were unlucky to lose and the fans are so quick to criticise. Half empty at the final whistle when we were pushing for an equaliser. Pathetic support.
Major minus is Danny Collins!
He is an accident waiting to happen and I cringe every time the ball goes anywhere near him.
He shouldn't even be in the squad!
Where is Tom Thorpe? Has he gone backwards so quickly that he's not even worth considering?
At the match I thought they had 2 forwards unmarked on the back stick but just seen their second goal on Sky and Collins was between both attackers and should really have done better.
As should Toffolo for the first who was stood next to the goal scorer but made no effort whatsoever to cut out what was a pretty tame header.
as above i thought we had them on the ropes after we scored and could have gone 2-1 up. there CB Bossed the back line JCH Had a poor game a point would be nice
