Rank bad defending for both goals, Toffolo had a bloody nightmare yet he left Mattock on the bench the whole game, Brandon Barker is a wimpy ***** who neshes out of challenges, JCH marked out of the game, Derbyshire useless, that was as bad as it gets, & what's more galling, Wolves were poor!! ANGRY!!!!!
Decision making too. G Ward and Smallwood both had perfect shooting opportunities which neither took, instead played it left, right or back. Then later in the match they both took shots from ridiculous positions both of which almost hit the corner flag!
I agree it wasn't that bad and we should have nicked a point but some of the decision making was dreadful.
Also some of our breaks were far too slow and we frequently allowed Wolves' defenders to get back by delaying the final pass.
The defence looked a bit shaky, mainly because Collins and Toffolo were poor and, although Wolves were distinctly average, they always looked to carry more of an attacking threat than we did.
Oh well, Blackburn next so let's hope for at least a point there. UTM.
I think we have all seen some garbage over the years and what we saw today was nothing like as bad as all that. It was a six out of ten performance against a mid table championship side in horrible conditions.
What got me is towards the end when we should have been throwing the kitchen sink at Wolves we were so pedestrian in our build up play it was unreal, it was as though they weren't that bothered.
Can't believe some of the criticism on here regarding today's performance. We played a team who, admittedly is on a poor run, but is full of quality technical players and they, like Rotherham struggled to put many meaningful moves together due to the appalling conditions. We lost due to two dreadful defensive errors but we bossed the second half and created enough opportunities to earn at least a point.
Plus points - Broadfoot - hardly put a foot wrong - cool under pressure with the ability to control the ball and bring it out of defence calmly. Frecklington - another great Captain's game and Camp for keeping us in the game.
Worries - Collins - enough said, Toffolo - beaten for pace and strength on most occasions and looks out of his depth in this league. If Rawson leaves in Jan, we're going to be very exposed for the rest of the season if we can't get the left side of defence sorted.
JCH - came up against someone equally strong and physical and didn't like it. His head went down and his performance suffered. He'll learn.
I'll be interested to see replays of their second goal cos from where I sit, the corner looked to cross the goal line before coming back in for one of their two unmarked players to head it home.
Nothing gained or lost from today's performance and I put the result down to wind - which now seems to have infiltrated this site!
I can't believe people are happy to watch long ball after long ball with the same result every time. We started to pass the ball more when Hyam came on and lo and behold we create a couple of half chances.

A calm head in a storm and i agree with most of your points there, just think we hit the channels way too much first half, fine margins in this division, and our two glaring mistakes at the back cost us, that's the difference i'm afraid, the higher you go, the more you get punished. Broadfoot is a given starter now though for me, outstanding again today.
I agree with almost everything Glenn says. There are still problems to sort out. Buxton offers little. Collins not up to it. Toffolo still learning. Mattock and Danny Ward made of china. Derbyshire always a yard off the pace. I am not as enthusiastic about Camp as some seem to be. He never leaves his line. In the second half from our corner their keeper caught a ball under pressure further out from goal than where they headed their second in from. Yes he made a wonder save but it was from a header three yards out. If he comes to get the cross he doesn't have the save to make. But (and it is a big but) all in all we were much better than 'garbage'. Free flowing football was never going to happen in those conditions and both teams played safety first at times. We were decent and unlucky to lose. Such a negative reaction to a narrow defeat is really disappointing.

Stop with the common sense fella, you're supposed to slate everything and everyone when we lose...
I have seen worse and to be honest I dislike critisising individual players cos when all is said and done they are doing their best.Even on their worst days they are 10 times better than I was on my best.In saying all that I would like to see better full backs from somewhere and I honestly do not think Camp is substantially better than Collin.
