i actually thought he was here till January anyway? When was his loan due to expire?

By the way S8, can you explain how the 'emergency loans' work? On the official site it says that we extended his loan to cover "injuries in the midfield area" Is that a bit of bullsh it to push the loan through?

If anyone else can shed light on emergency loans that would be appreciated.

According to Jonathan Buchan his youth loan was due to expire today but it was converted to an emergency loan until January. If you can be bothered to trawl through this to work out the rules, feel free. Quite frankly my eyes glazed over after the first paragraph.

Yes, I thought he was here too til January.

I agree with redfern d assessment.

He could continue to improve and be a real asset as the season goes on.

With some going out, a few newbies coming in, off the back of a win at Leeds, team is beginning to be Redfearn’s ‘own’. I won’t judge us properly ‘til we see how the January perm signings come in, which he is obviously manoeuvring towards with getting rid of players out on loan, plus some existing loans expire then anyway ..… Be interesting to see how the team performs on Saturday, I’m expecting a lot more fight (not the Leon Best type) from now on… UTM

seems like a side full of youth, and Redfearn willing to take a risk, i mean we couldn't get any worse than the Ipswich result could we.
