Interested to hear from anyone who went. Sounds like Kelly did well and also Best until he clashed with that Italian pantomime drama queen of theirs. Maybe we needed someone to put himself around a bit. Also surprise but welcome return for Frecks. Hopefully this will give us some confidence ready for some winnable games coming up.
Rawson must have been injured. Kelly as given us options. Hopefully young Faz back next week, Kelly at right back. Pity about Best, sounded like he did well.

I don't know about drama queen mate, his head was in Leeds, his nose was in Batley
All round a good battling performance. It wasnt pretty from either team but it was a professional and well fought win.
Impossible to say too much from one performance other than what it was-well done and better all round.
Against Ipswich we were dire and it was a real low point. Hopefully, this will give some belief that might bring more out of everyone. One other thing to note was that the changes were welcome not only because of the result but for the squad as a whole. To ring that many changes was very brave and astute from Redfern and the result proves he can organise a team quickly.
I think it was a great move to put Best and JCH on together and give Derbs a rest. Hopefully, we have some real healthy competition building in the team to spur everyone on.
Correction - the drama queen with a nose in Batley was Swiss. The Italian drama queens were the defender who attacked Best and the goalkeeper who got himself and Danny Ward booked. Seriously, he got a whack in the face for sure and it bled for sure but what a massive over reaction. Those things are going to happen in a physical game. Myself I think Best was trying to get across him and I'm not convinced he deliberately smashed his face in. Leeds clearly saw a chance to get a one man advantage and tried to milk it but took it too far. Its a good job these players never had to turn out at Ferham Park etc regular. Perhaps the guy can join Wednesdays centre forward who lost a tooth and wept about it in PTSD therapy.
