Today's Match Attendance Rotherham United v Ipswich Town

Just before the end of the game against Ipswich Town I heard over the PA system that the attendance was just over 9,000.

The scoreboard then displayed over 11,000 in attendance with 2,500 away supporters.

These figures suddenly disappeared from the scoreboard.

Then the figure 9,162 appeared on the scoreboard with just over 1,000 away supporters.



There were well over 2,000 away supporters in my estimation.

Was this just an input error?

Dunno but all lies, I was in attendance but not there as are probably a fair few season ticket holders

Looked right to me. Remember it's a 2.6 capacity .

The away ends holds nearly 2500 max and it was less than half full.

Give or take there's 400 to a block and there were 2 and 1/2 blocks. Glad you posted this though because I was calling Luke a plonker for saying 2000 when he was just repeating what he had heard.

Saw it myself and although i know sod all about scoreboard graphics, i'm pretty sure the attendance "template" or whatever it's called was still there from our previous home game.....Sheffield Wednesday 11658 and 2587 away fans.
