Why is he described in the article's title as an Ace ?
Is it because he only appears in 4 out of every 52 ?
On a serious note, I've been disappointed with him. Made some great sub appearances last season and I was looking forward to him being like a new signing this season, fully fit and playing at that standard every week. Instead he's barely been available and looked poor when he's played (barring a nice cameo at birmingham). Seems to me a bit like Bowery, able to impress in 15 minute sub appearances against tired legs but not looking up to it when included in a starting line up. Shame because there's a place in the forward line going begging and it's looking like he's going to miss the chance to grab it before someone else comes in.
Definition of Ace.."a person who excels at a particular sport or other activity." I would suggest that Danny Ward must be good at a sport we don't know about, as he definitely isn't a person who excels at football! Perhaps he's a closet ballerina?
this lad winds me up he is one of the modern footballers like sturridge that have a knock and are out for weeks, they are too precious these days. Big discussion about this on alan brazil show. I think he is a footballer when the team is in top ten he is always ready to play when in bottom 6 keeps getting injured, personal opinion just a feeling
He's one of many players we've got who aren't specialists in one position or another. I don't mind the lad but he isn't a striker, and he regularly looks like he's carrying a bit too much weight. A bit of a nearly man so far with us.
Get rid, useless judging by his inept performance on Tuesday evening, pathetic and appeared injured when he came off? How was that, he didn't do anything to get an injury? perhaps an old war wound?
Buxton is better than Richardson though, at least in my opinion. Maguire is in urgent need of anger management training and Mattock needs a thorough service as he's always injured!
ian, you're right why did we sign such dross and how did the Owls finish so high up?
