come january expect a new look team with soem famialer faces and some new as redders  really can create his own and then we can judge

What about Newell and JCH? Didn't Evans sign them? Are they "wasters"?

You pay peanuts, you get monkeys.

The players Evans signed pre- season were Roos, Buxton, Collins, Halford, Mattock, Rawson, Thorpe, Ledesma, White, Maguire, G Ward and Newell. They were added to a fair number of existing retained players (Collin, Richardson, Broadfoot, Smallwood, Frecklington, Green, Bowery, JCH, Derbyshire). Evans said quality over quantity and said all the new players were improving the team ('we will only sign players who are better than what we've got'). Within three or four games the starting eleven was made up mostly of the retained players and most of the pre-season additions (Roos, Halford, Thorpe, White, Ledesma, Maguire, G Ward) were either on the bench or in the stand, and Evans was saying we needed two or three new faces. All of that is fact. How anyone can look at all that and maintain that it was anything other than a shambles really is beyond me.

i didnt say all the players were wasters i said some were. Im sorry but the budget is not always the case . we didnt sign the other players who we allegedly went for was down to

1) Evans he is not a man manager he is a motivator by winding the player up and make him prove he is wrong that works with certain personalities. proven by evans putting some new signing on the bench and i bet they would have gone on loan by now if he was still here

2) rotherham we are a small club so if its between us and say derby for a player they will pick the bigger club every time cos the agent would get a bigger fee

3) wages we also arnt the biggest payers

but one thing redders will have opportunities to get players on loan from clubs that shut their door to us because of evans

This issue about loanees. A big thing was made of our judicious use of it. However, even the top clubs have a handful making a contribution. I think wednesday had 3 start against us.

Was Evans really profligate in his use if the loan system? We signed a lot but perhaps it wasn't the loan system which he over used.

It will be interesting to see if Redfearns strike rate of first team members is any better .

Remember water gate and pleb gate.

Profligate :  This is when professor s all get together to rig the economic system for their own profits. Hence prof la gate= The gateway of professors.
