End of Season Predictions - Millers' Championship Points Total 2015-2016

Further to the comment made by fellow Millers Banter member and all round good guy, ridgeway.

' Get your own predictions, Hiram. I suggested a lowest Championship points total weeks ago'

I think we ought to guesstimate how many or how few Championship points the Millers will have racked up by the end of this

2015-2016 Season.

To make it more fun you can keep guessing right up to midnight Friday, 1st April 2016.

It will only be your last guess which will count.

We are due to play Leeds United at home on Saturday 2nd April 2016.

My initial guess is very controversial. 28 points say I.

Tis ill conceived to bring a child into a world unsupported by those who hold its very future in doubt . One cannot save the future with fear; only with faith.

I'm going 55 points

You are beginning to restore my faith and that all is not lost, ian.

My Millers' final tally has now increased to 31 points.

To say we need 1.5 points per game to stay up, seems a very tall order already. Evans has blown the budget so badly this time, I don't believe Redders will have the required to stop it. It further adds weight to the argument that our 'achievement' last season was as much to the way up until December so many teams were imploding it slanted the league. This season we have more teams on parachute payments and this is a 'normal' season, I think we've conceded we're 5-10 years away from having the infrastructure in place to be even thinking about 'establishing' as a Championship club.

I'll go for a plodding 38 points, more or less down by Easter

I have taken a long hard look at the fixture list and I think that I am being extremely generous here, 32 points absolute maximum. But then what do I know after watching the Miller's for 65 years or so I have been wrong on more occasions than I care to remember. So it may be senility setting in. Silly old b.

Exeter is spot on.  I've run it past a few experts, run the FinkTank computer model and keep coming up with 38 points.  Variations are likely to be on the downside and Towd Codger may know a thing or two at 32 points.  Having said all that Andy's 28 is still looking like a mountain to climb the way we're going.

If we did go down. Would we bounce back up? I do believe we will stay up though. 45 points.

I would not expect an immediate return but probably we'd get into the play-offs and promotion within 1-3 years.

Realistically between 35 & 40 points which would be nowhere near enough, but we MUST keep Redfearn for the medium term at least!!

After watching the replay several times of Lee Camp pushing the ball away twice to allow an Owls player to score my guesstimate stays firm at 31 points.

Who knew what a good thread this would turn in to. I for one dismissed it entirely.

Perception is not fact but mere point of view.
Point if view will change dependant on where you sit in the room.
All the points of view taken together never tell the whole story.

Correlation is not proved by coincidence.

Independent thought is impossible.

 She's beautiful ain't she.

If you can bear the beauty eventually you will be loved like you always wanted to be.

Stickin with 55 but with a punch line.

What do you get if you cross a baby with a soldier...infantry.

I think Redders has some babies but with a few additions we will have an army of foot soldiers.

42.points which is second from bottom. 4th from bottom has 52 points. As stated before by Brad, Redfearn to stay and rebuild for next year's promotion push.
