Bad performance sickly. Never got going.
Camp awful and defence just not up to it against that pace and quickness in the box. What bothered me was we haven't built on Tuesday. In fact, the only time we looked like scoring was when we reverted to long punts wide and took a chance to run at them.
Clearly the squad we have at the moment (Evans squad BTW) Isn't good enough to keep us in the Championship. This is a period of transition & Redfearn has to be given the time AND resources to bring HIS team to the fore & for the players to buy into his style of play. Obviously this won't happen overnight & it might mean a step backwards (L1) for it to bear fruit. So be it I say, but tonight hurt, it hurt a lot!!!!
I was a bit disappointed, at least going to the cricket I missed the inevitable phone call from brother. Redfearn will do a decent job and in time will sort it out.
