Very interesting zippy. Lovely pub. How bloody pathetic that in a crowd of 600 they don't let fans drink together. Is it really that bad at that level? Geez. Sarnie did look lovely. Brilliant pik at 78, lol.

Get a complaint in John; the sign is clear enough.  Had a chuckle at the thought of a bar full watching Macclesfield v Kidderminster.  Obviously not much happening down Boreham Wood!

First time i've known it at Non League level Ian.

I know it sounded maunghy of me, and the High Street was only a 5 minute walk back, but i'd rather a Football Club got my dosh rather than an High Street pub.

Turn 20 people away x 4 pints average and a bit of food each and you're talking £300+.....a lot of money at lower league levels.

The pub i went in was full of Welling fans (who obviously couldn't get in the Social Club or didn't even bother trying)

I had to laugh at one old geezer though, he ate his bar meal in the pub, then looked round sheepishly and slipped the empty plate into his carrier bag....poor bugga must be short of plates at home.

Yeah, i'm off to Bromley on November 14th Brad....was going there yesterday but noticed Bromley kick off at 12.30 on Nov 14th (live bt sport) so lot easier to get back from and obviously a lot earlier.

I'll be off somewhere on October 24th as well, FA Cup 4th round qualifying day and with Bromley and Dover (Dec 28th weather permitting) already sorted, i just need Gateshead, Braintree or Woking to get an home tie in tomorrow's draw and then i'll decide.

Hey up Zip.

Great photos as always mate!

You don't half get about a bit visiting all the non-league grounds Zip, but as long as you're enjoying it that is all that matters my friend!

It's a shame that every now and then you come up against a mardy arse or two!   no

Cheers Nez, hope you're keeping well my friend.

Chatting to a Brighton fan on Facebook and he says he went there last season for the play-off game and the OTT Stewards were even searching people's wallets !!!!!!

God knows what they expected to find....i'd have told them to bugga off.

biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

That's right Ian....Mr Allinson has resigned.

Apparently the doormen wouldn't let him in the Clubhouse for a post match pint smilesmile

FA Cup draw made yesterday and Gateshead have drawn either Worcester or Solihull at home on Saturday October 24th

So as long as it's not moved for telly or anything, i'll be going there that day, hopefully a very happy traveller following the previous night's game.

The Ground's guide states that their bar is home fans only as well, but at least i know this time....and there's plenty of Wetherspoons in Newcastle centre so i can have my nosh there.
