England 2 Estonia 0 verdict

Now that's 90 minutes of my life I won't get back. So dreadfully dull. TBH I've seen more exciting pre-season friendlies. We're going out of Euro 2016 at the group stage if tonight is anything to go by. Milner in the holding midfield role? Why? Hart in goal...why? FFS Roy, try some of the younger uns, especially as it was a dead rubber.

Plusses; Clyne, promising, Walcott, has to start up top, Vardy (give him more than ten minutes, same with Alli), Barkley but Hodgson has to drill it into him that he can't do it all.

Minuses; No tempo, tried to walk it in, wayward shooting especially second half, Sterling (overpriced show pony)

I have to be honest Brad. What did you expect.

I was an avid follower of England and in the fans club, eagerly collecting my points so I could apply for England tickets for rare and oversubscribed games. Of course, for big tournaments one has to pre apply for every ticket in every game in the tournament. This can cost a thousand pounds-certainly several hundreds-the money is taken months before the tournaments and when England get knocked out you have to wait several more months to have the money refunded.

Now on to the playing side of things. I gavw up with England after sven. I should have given up long before. The Football was appaling. The players didn't care and are very poor compared to other teams. The tactics boring. It continued under that complete Italian tool. We became a laughing stock around the world. Boring and ineffective and needing poor foreign coaches.  Not an England team I could relate too.

So, I wonder why anyone is still surprised to see average club performances when England turn up. Let's face it, when have England actually been a joy to watch. Forget joy! What about even interesting never mind the unbelievable dizzy heights of exciting. Nope, I gave up anticipating a revival of fast attacking and exciting British foit ball long ago and with it any care as to what we achieve. It's all so predictable and utterly boring.

I'm only surprised anyone bothers to watch these games.

Speaking of wasted I was at a beer festival in Ulverston and spotted you but was seeing double at the time.

Funnily enough I always get excited whenever there's an England game on T.V. and then when they kick off I realise just how bored I get watching 'em play the same old sideways passing, not to mention all the passing back.

Sterling is a complete waste of space, and how he gets anywhere near the England squad is a mystery to me. Overrated and disgustingly overpaid.     Football, worldwide, not just in this country is on a downward slide.

The skills of the players these days is far superior to back in the 60's, 70's etc, but the "football" they play is nowhere near as good. They're just overpaid posers.    no
