Seeing TS's interview - I'm not psychologists but the pain in his eyes, on his face and demeanour is there to see. Whether this is a very clever façade I don't know. I'm in the camp that no way on Saturday at 5pm were Del boy & Rodney leaving RUFC, so whatever slammed on the breaks must have been a breach of contract, and Tone says I can sack you or you 'do the right thing'. I don't get the 2 weeks ago thing, if so they'd have gone to Pboro. To leave a job Evans must have been compensated in some way, I'm sure his pies bill alone wouldn't have covered the dole money. You don't walk 1yr into a 3yr contract on 100k a year lifestyle. I'm certain no other Championship club would take them, he'll be waiting for a L1 club with status like Coventry etc - I'm not even sure the SPL would be attractive unless it was his beloved club.
Either way, he's gone, no great shakes in my book. While there was some good to SE and his lap dog there was equally or more so wrong. I think used effectively we have enough playing talent to keep away from the bottom 3 never mind be dragged in it again. Its far from doom and gloom. Hopefully the players will realise this, we'll certainly tell tonight, their on field reaction will tell its own story.
Agree with much of what Exeter says. Little about this makes sense, the timing least of all. Something big is missing from the jigsaw. My initial thought was Dundee Utd.
