I would expect a new manager to be signed up by 12th / 13th October so as to give himself 4 / 5 days to assess players in training. The club will have plenty of applicants for the job. If Eric Black`s team selection v Burnley is a positive one there is a possibility he will apply for the job. He wouldn`t be my choice though. __________________
