He is clearly a very strong and rounded chap.

He speaks with significant authority and has clearly taken his place in the dressing room as a standard bearer.

What struck me really was how he sounded like he knew exactly what was going on in the dressing room and at the club and without directly mentioning it, he clearly has formed his opinion already. I suspect he and Evans will be very strong Allies, or, they will be rivals. I found him to be that strong.

some sound bites:

I havent been here long but I can see the boys have desire and attitude to work and win

The boys are in good spirit to dust themselves down and go again against Cardiff city

They (Brighton) try to dominate and be expansive thats how they play.

we have to work on our units all over the pitch and we have to look after fadz.

we have to work on our units more and so we need to stick together and develop more of an understanding sooner rather than later.

I see myself as a Leader. Ive been around long enough...

part of my role is to be a leader-I see the whole pitch

I lead by my action and I will need to add wisdom and calmness into the side.

Its good news steve is staying. It is stability for the club-just like the back 4 and the team. He (steve) has handled himself well.
