Steve Evans won't leave unless he gets the sack. Compensation to him, he's not going to throw that away.

He's best man to try & keep us up. He's sorted Keeper out, he's sorting defence out. Could still get a couple of loan players in, prob' wait while October then he can keep them while Jan' window.

If we suffer a heavy defeat on Saturday, SE's reign as manager will be over. There will be no more excuses. Investors will never throw good money into a failing project. It will be back to the drawing board. A new manager at the helm with fresh, forward thinking ideas.

I want SE and the team to prove me wrong and deliver a convincing victory.

thats what we want either under evans or someone else some one who can get the team playing for them

so come on steve its time for the general in you to come out and inspire your troops with a new strategy

be the montgomery our team needs to lead us to victory and get the confidence back

or to paraphrase ridgewaykid

our churchill may decide to decide it time for a new general

Hillsborough, the saving grace for SE is imo that there is no obviously better candidate in the wings and chopping and changing managers (unlike generals) costs money.  I can see TS sticking with him whatever happens until at least the end of the season, perhaps beyond.  My hope was that SE would force TS's hand by taking the Posh job and I'm honest enough to admit I'm sorry he didn't.
