This weeks bonus focuses on a little known fact; most goals are scored between 40-45 minutes; the least goals are scored between 10-15 minutes.
Dont take my word for it...
Its a Fact!
of course, if you dont believe me, you have a chance to rise above the pack. I know where my money will be going.
Anyone who can predict the exact scoreline between goals scored in the 40-45 minute period v 10-15 minute period will gain the sum total of the two scores x by 3. Also, bonus will be awarded in the same fashion to the main league; .i.e. correct scoreline=10pts, correct result =5 pts and one correct score =2pts.
N.B. This only applies to Tuesday nights fixtures.
good luck.
Example: put your 40-45 prediction as the home team
Ian, sorry to be a pain in the arse mate, but I'd like to know whether all minutes in the 40-45 and 10-15 time zones count, because that spans six minutes in each, or will just the 41-42-43-44 and 45 minutes count, as with 11-12-13-14 and 15 minutes similarly?
Also, there are many goals scored that go down as 45+1, 45+2, 45+3 etc, etc, etc. so will a goal scored in 45+ whatever minutes count?
I'm a "stickler" for detail Ian, so if you could just clear this up for me then I will be able to sleep easy tonight!
Congratulations to The Loan Arranger and Andy Monium for correctly predicting the score btw the 40-45th minute v 10-15th minute-it finished 2-1
Really though, there were some predictions. No names, but some thought that 30% of all goals would be scored in 10 minutes. Hey, they could have been right, i know I was wrong. Those Eric Black badges need a major polishing I would think.
Big Congrats to Exeter again for being Tuesday night top dog. I know some of you wrote to me to complain about his prediction against the Millers, but in all fairness he was right-and thats the name of the game. Still, he is one hell of a traitor.
Big shock for Ian this week who posted the 2nd lowest score. I know he was so shocked and upset he checked his score several times and lots of rude thoughts about Exeter went through his head. Thankfully, GHF, saved him from total humiliation.
Some very good scores down below too.
The league is getting tightly packed...apart from ol big head of course.
Well done to Andy who has a combined score of 73 for the 12 fixtures, which, I believe is the single biggest tally from last season and this. How long will the record stand? He has also leaped from 13th to an incredible 4th (and into the play-offs) and only 3 points behind Oneaday and 3rd place.
