NEXT 4 matches

Noticed next 4 matches are all top of table opponents.

Brighton

Cardiff

Birmingham

Burnley

Hard task, i still think we will win at Brighton though, going to be tough.

If we dont win on Tuesday, when will the first win come?

Misread your post Worcester - thought you'd put all top table opportunities!

Interesting - they all had good victories yesterday. However, Charlton were going well until we went down there so hopefully we can get something from these games. I'd be happy with 4 points but I'm going for 6 points optimistically!

First 3 are all in false positions and will slide down the table. Burnley are a good side.

Our record's not too bad against Brighton, even though it hasn't seemed like it in recent meetings.

We've not beaten them since '97 but beat them twice in '93 (different seasons). We should be good for another draw in this one I.M.O.

Cardiff, if we can forget the 1-3 loss at New York last season then we've got a decent record against the bluebirds.

I'm predicting our first win of the season against them. Hooray!!!!!!!

Birmingham, oh dear, not a good record against them and I can't see us getting owt from this one.

Burnley, the Friday night game that's live on Sky.

It's fairly even between the sides and there's been more draws than there has been victories for either side, so that's what I'm tipping from this game. We've not played Burnley for ten years now and even though they were a Premier side last season, I'm expecting a good showing in front of the cameras.   biggrin

Anyone care to finish off the predictions for September's games. There wasn't much hope at the beginning of the month - having said that we've already achieved my 6 points optimistic prediction.

Friday's game is probably the most difficult of the month's to forecast with so many unforeseen factors influencing it. I would have been more confident with Ofoe in the side, but I reckon we can still prize something out of it with a passionate following from the fans and lots of players trying to impress the new gaffer. It's a great opportunity for Frecks to impose himself on the new set-up so hopefully he's fit to play.

I'm going for a momentous 3 points to kick off the new era!

They aren't in tip top form are they?

Ofoe is a massive blow and we can't replace him. No one else in the team can remotely run with the ball like he could and keep and steal it.

Not a fan of frecks at all.

Will lardy da boy play I wonder? On current form we should win so I'd take a draw.

I too am going for a victory. It will be difficult but are not all games. There`s no such thing as a "gimme".

Gutted that Ofoe has decided to return to Norwich, he was outstanding v Birmingham.

Think whichever team selection Eric Black chooses then the players will be up for it.

The crowd will get behind the team and I hope it`s a similar game we had against Leeds last season with the same end result.....2-1 Millers.

Hopefully it will be 9 points from 12.

As a footballer Ian, Frecklington can't hold a torch to that yo yo bloke from Norwich I agree, but I rate him highly as a team player and he is worthy of his place in our side on Friday if fit. He is a leader of men and let's face it, we need that now more than ever.
