There have been a few queries regarding the colour codes used in the league table. It looks nice, but does it have a function?
Well, it does this week.
Quite frankly, I could not bear another Bonus point failure from so called football experts-The sponsors are getting upset too. So, they insisted I introduc a fail-safe Bonus week.
Here it is;
10 bonus points will be awarded to the winners of 7 head to head encounters.
As per play play-off tradition, top will confront bottom and so on.
Here are the Match-ups.
Exeter v PIDG (potential banana skin)
Ian v Andy
Unifier v The Loan Arranger
Onesaday v Towld Codger
Sickly Child v Worcester Miller
Millmoormagic v Tony Kidding
S8 v Glass half full (anyons game)
If there are any more entrants I wlll pair them up. If there is an odd number I will add a separate challenge for them.
Good luck, and remember the Motto of our great and proud League.
"Failure is Inevitable-Only One can be King"
"Why did the rest even Bother".
Inspiring I am sure you will agree
Fixtures for Week 6 of the Millers Banter prediction League
Exeter remains top and despite being pegged back to just 3 points at the start of todays games, he has glided out like the graceful swan he is to take a healthy lead into Tuesdays games.
Congratulations to Glass Half full. He rose from the pack today and reasserted his claim to a top 4 birth.
We had a few upsets in the head to heads.
Only Ian and Exeter performed as per league table, with the other 5 winners taking scalps of those above or very near to them.
The Loan Arranger and Towd Codger were winners in very close contests but the biggest result of the day was Tony Kiddings thrashing of Millmoor magic away from home. Millmoore, was boasting before kick off, but his challenger stood tall and had him on his knees by half time. Millmoor who is known for bearing a grudge wont forget this humiliation quickly. Is Tony nervous? Lets wait and see how he performs midweek.
Bonus winners: Exeter Ian The Loan Arranger Towd Codger Worcester Tony Kidding Glass Half full.
Its looking tough for the Bottom 4. Many fans are predicting a down by Christmas scenario with Andys and sicklys form looking particularly troubling.
PIDG, will want to do better and knows he can, with S8, oneaday Worcester turning in steady performances yet again.
Unifier, remains a dark horse-never far from the top clubs, and avoiding much media coverage early on can only do his chances no harm-could he be worth a flutter.
