I'm rarely shocked by two-faced behaviour on another Millers forum but this one takes the biscuit. On 22 August on being informed that Zilzal was leaving the site the Cardigan Kid (aka Buy-a-brick Brinnieboy) posted "Who cares?" Two weeks later on Zilzal's return to his spiritual home the same poster effused; "Excellent posts...welcome home friend." Pass me the sick bucket please.
By the way, couldn't help noticing that after the sad demise of Willritson on MM in 2008 two new posters quickly appeared; Kempo on 8th August and Zilzal on 11th August. Spooky or what?
Smiler posted on here today about the "common love" between posters. Not much evidence of that over there. John2 posted but imo spoiled his post by demanding other posters flog themselves for comments they'd made ages ago. Then a guy who has made a number of OT posts in the past came out with the old chestnut, "This is a FOOTBALL forum", then several posters slagged off the OP and suggested his posts be removed. If there is a Hell it may be something similar to MM.
I think John2 is a very intelligent and thought provoking poster on there, but he has fallen into the MM trap, as many of us did, me included, where you find yourself playing the blame game and looking to prove folk wrong, all the time, the oneupmanship is also very evident on there. That was the only MB i had any knowledge of, and it was a very good MB at one point, but poor moderating and very poor individual control and responsibility by a certain few posters has made it what it is today, insignificant.

The problem I encountered on there was much as you say. I also found that you were quickly consigned to a particular category and could attract unrelenting antipathy. Nothing you posted was considered impartially but always judged by your perceived past record. Very much a case of not what you say but who says it. I still read some stuff on there but haven't posted in several months (Kempo thinks I have but he's wrong) and never will again.
I often maintained on MM that it wasn't what you said but who said it that mattered. There are far too many examples for me to relate.
I really dislike nastiness and the way people on there scream for bans or deletion of threads they don't happen to like. There's a guy, unaptly named "Jolly", who I have read many, many times happily contibuting to political or other OT threads, for example IBS's on Tony Blair and Labour.
But John2 starts a political thread and simply because Jolly hates John he starts demanding the mods remove political threads. Well, Jolly my lad, you may not realise it but sites cannot continue (if you don't believe me check out some other football forums with a single post on average each week) with your half-dozen yearly mind-bogglingly interesting posts about "How many points can we get in September?" etc. As S8-Miller said on MM if you don't like OT posts don't f*cking read them. It's not rocket science.
To be fair John 2 usually argues his points well only to get abuse from the usual brain-dead knuckle draggers who cant be bothered to form a rational argument. Funny how when ever a Muslim does wrong they jump all over it, the death of an innocent muslim man the other week in Rotherham appears to have attracted little or nothing. Before I get hammered I am an atheist who dislikes all religions and I have a real problem with Islam, but I refuse to adopt blind bigotry as an answer to a problem.
How can people stand the hypocricy of that other Millers site? The Cardigan Kid's love-in with Zilzal reaches nauseous depths. Zilzal, for reasons I do not understand, mentions Kempo lovingly in more than three quarters of his posts going back to 2008. Three posters demand an end to OT posts even though such posts outnumber footie posts by about 2:1 and attract about double the replies. Amazingly in the six most popular footie posts those same three posters between them only muster 2 comments. MM is awash with hypocrites and idiots. Long may it continue.
