Positive move by SE. However, as much as I admire Lee Frecklington, not sure he would have been my choice as Captain. He has not been an automatic name on the team sheet for a while now, whereas Smallwood has and seems to have the right credentials. Anyway, good luck to Frecks and I hope he enjoys the same success as Captain as he did previously.
Frecklington has the heart of a lion, is a crowd favourite and a born leader. He is now club captain. If he is in the team then he will also be team captain. If not maybe Smallwood or whoever. I have to say that this is an excellent decision and will motivate the players to once again give their all in the true Rotherham United way.
Well done Steve for realising your mistakes with Roos and Halford early enough for it to make a difference.

Big enough to admit giving Halford the Captaincy was wrong yeah, but not big enough to admit that bringing him & his mate Collins to the club in the first place was a MASSIVE mistake, no......
