Just looking at the first goal v fulham again and initially I defended Collin vehemently to a couple of people in the stands on the day , but now Im not so sure.
Collin should have pushed it out or wide for a corner he'll be disappointed with that I'm sure. However he shouldn't have been in a position to make that save. Collins is so unaware of his surroundings and slow to react to 90% of things its little surprise it goes by him (mistake 1), Halfords contribution is nothing short of laughable including ducking from something that wasn't there (mistake 2), Collin doesn't deal with a bouncing header very well (mistake 3), Buxton is very slow to react to the push out (mistake 4). But these are stupid mistakes you'd expect a L1 or L2 level player to make. But from the chain of errors you can see who's mostly at fault
Trouble is when you make one mistake in the net it results in a goal. When you make twenty outfield it results in losing possession. Goalies do get over criticised in comparison to other players.
