Steve lets start over, after the break we will start as if it's the first game, so please read on
1 You are the manager of a multimillion pound organisation so please dress the part stop dressing in unflattering track suits and look the part, I would even encourage you to consult a style psychologit's. Behave with restraint and discipline. If I shout at my staff every two minutes they loose all respect and stop listening BUT if I voice my opinion when I really need to and in a constructive way everyone listens. Shouting and criticising members of saff in public gets you nowhere.
2 should we have an inspector (referee) over I don't shout at him of tell him where he's going wrong, what's the point he won't change his mind, but I send down my most attractive member of staff to welcome him to our company, make sure he's looked after and get him on MY side. After a few visits he's very happy and not a jobs worth.
3 have a buissness plan. Decide what you want to achieve and the best way to get it. Do you want a target man, play wide with pace, do you want to defend deep creating space behind and hit on the. Break etc etc.
4 when you have decided on 3 you have to recruit and train. Yes I know he's your brother but the scouting over the last few seasons has been very poor. Employ a quality scout or network to find the players we need. We have conceded an alarming amount of goals in our first few games which tells us the defensive coach isn't working, get rid, you have chose the wrong person accept it and move on.
5 scrap the wages cap. Dump 8 average players And recruit 4 quality players. much better to have a strong spine- keeper, defender, creative midfield, centre forward. Play these four and surround them with support and you will not go wrong. Better to have 4x10k players on the pitch than 4x5k players playing and 4x5k players on the bench.
6 come and sit in the directors box. I know you have done this in the past but you can see so much more than being at pitch side. I see you sending players in to crowded areas where they should be moving into space and I'm convinced it's because from your limited vantage point you can not see the depth prospective.
I Hope you take my advise I the spirit it's meant and good luck.
Sound advice indeed. Kempo used a style guru when he reinvented himself from Canklow wide boy to stalwart of the NHS and never looked back. SE really needs to lose some weight. He sets a shocking example to our younger fans.
