Haven't been anywhere, Andy. As the consensus on here seemed to be that my frequent postings were proof of narcissism or insanity I decided to give it a rest. As you would say, "very curious".
Andy, nothing I said was meant as a dig at you. I rarely comment on football as after more than 50 years of watching I'm still not sure what's going on. I prefer to leave analysis to informed commentators like Davidr. But I thought that with the exception of your good self and one or two others the Off-Topic forum was quiet and I could contribute to livening the site up with a few posts there. You were kind enough to encourage me in that endeavour. However, my efforts were misunderstood and I was accused of forming a clique of one and generally showing off so I thought "B*gger this!" I did note that in the six days after my self-immolation there was not a single new post in the OT section which tells us something (although I'm not sure what). Best wishes as ever.

Thanks, K. I do think however you lack a little consistency. For example, I left expressing (I hope) fairly gracious sentiments regarding Banter. By contrast your pal the Mad Monk left MM spitting feathers and yet on his return there you make no derogatory comments saving your ire for me.
I've given it to your best mate, Smallpoor. He deserved it. All those years reading MM and never posting until finally his best mate Kempo is banned and he feels the need to join up to protest at the injustice of it all. He then never posts again. I wish I had mates like that - he even shared your grammatical construction and made the same spelling mistakes. What a guy.

As my old friend Rufus von Reclinghausen said "You can take the Willy out of Ritson but not the Canklow out of Wayne." Don't worry, I don't know what he meant either.
