Green to start against Fulham.

First name to go on team sheet. It's a must. He knows how to find the back of the net.

You must be having a rise Andy. Admitted his volley was class but his late header in front of goal and a myriad of other missed opportunities this and last season make him the most unlikely player to score in my book!

Very funny Andy...Tell us another one.

Everyone seemed stunned when Greeny scored but he reverted to his old self with his header.

If he starts against Fulham I will eat my season card thingy or whatever it's called.

I know it may make some supporters see red but some may be thinking the same as me, Glen Miller.

I tease you not, Ian.

Please don't eat your card, Kempo. Something like that needs some kind of exotic seasoning.

Green is the untapped talent in the squad.

There is no Black and White in  this matter Green earns every penny. I'm not saying he will help win us many cups but that was a sweet strike.

But he's playing in the Championship. Surely he's not in the wrong place?

Green did ok today. He is not the problem. In fact he was half decent but cant be effective alongside the rest of the pedestrian midfield and deference.

In the two home thumpings we have received we have allowed (1) Kyle McFadzean and (2) Jamie O'Hara to boss the game at walking pace. I know that Greeny only came on at half time against MKD so I am not saying that this is down to him - it is more a commentary on our general play. We don't close down well enough without the ball and when we do have it our movement and the speed at which we move the ball are not good enough. Combine the two and we get the 60/40 possession stat we see most weeks.

Green is nowhere near good enough or fit enough.

Please sell him.

To Green's credit, it was him closing down quickly that caused the turnover high up the pitch from which JCH scored. We do need to be brave enough to press higher up the pitch, especially at home. I remember the home games against Bournemouth last year. It felt like they wouldn't give you time to breathe and as soon as they lost the ball they were after it again to win it back in good areas.
