Haven't seen Collin's work in reserves or training so can't comment on Evan's viewpoint.  However SE goes on to talk about JCH.  Can I just say that his appraisal of a record signing as a long way off being ready to play in our team reflects very very badly on the manager's judgement in the transfer market and if I were TS I wouldn't let him near a cheque book again.

One thing I will point out to all the Roos knockers is that David De Gea had a similar error strewn start at Man. Utd and most experts reckoned he'd never make the grade.

RK, thank god its at this end of the season and the rot stops tonight against PNE.

Roo's is a good keeper, same as Collin is, but at the moment i dont see any difference between them, if Collin could throw or pass out to our players when he has the ball, rather than lump it up field back to the opposition, then i think it might be time for Collin to return.

BTW, Collin needs to start shouting at his defenders and helping them out, seen as its a whole new back 4.

Also look what happened last Season, Bolton away winning then howlers by Collin, Loach appeared at Ipswich and look what happened there, and i dont think we have moved forward in the GK stakes.

I have been appalled at Roo's and his overall level of performance. That being as is, Collin will never quite be championship quality either. Others are calling for us to push the boat out for a striker, but a new Goalie was just as crucial and surely more affordable.

I do see Roo's has the ability to grow into a good keeper, but he has to show it in the next game or so otherwise the excuses have to stop and we need to bring in another.

not sure what we can do but Roos has had a bad day at the office from the start thats put pressure on the defense confidence is low at the back you could see that at the cambridge match Halford had a howler with some passes and distribution, the last thing we want to be doing is playing catch up from the off which we will be doing from tonight if we dont win,we need that win tonight for sure if we lose tonight we wont just need the keeper situation sorting out the whole back 4 will need sorting we will have the rep for leaking goals

Welcome to Millers Banter, Pidg.

Too right. If the rot sets in and we start leaking goals we will be sunk in the water.

I'm confident, as always before a game, that we will beat Preston.

Andy, can we have some consistency please.  On another thread you said we wouldn't slide in the mire but you're happy for us to sink in the water.  No wonder Helene did a runner.

I'm always confident after a game that my huge confidence before the game was misplaced.

Do I have to live with and tolerate this syndrome or is there a known cure that doesn't carry too many unpleasant side-effects?

Ridgeway, notice that I used the word 'if' at the beginning of the sentence.

I hope you're not going to get jealous of me and Helene.  There is always trouble when the green-eyed monster rears its head.

It's time to visit a doctor when the head turns green.  The prognosis does not bode well in those cir***stances.   date.gif

Fear not. We always loose when I'm away. Have lost every game and most heavily of the last 10 games I've been out of the country for (the playoff final being the exception). But tonight I'm back 2-1. Utm
