Feel sorry for Roos

as he is a young lad with a good future but he isn't ready and we have to face facts and quickly.

Collin must be wondering how he will ever get another shot.

Give Roos a rest and see how things pan out.

If we keep doing the same things and don't change then don't be surprised if the outcome remain the same.

The second goal was a joke today. Also, it's not like Evans to stand by his players after repeated b**sups, especially keepers!!

There is only one apparent fault I believe I notice in SE. He does seem to take longer than necessary to see when a bad player is bad. Of course it might be untrue but anecdotally I remember a few that could have been replaced by others in the team but weren't and then eventually are. I am no football scout but it does surprise me when a manager seems to waver too long over a player. Perhaps I am wrong and SE does have an awful lot of things to consider. The Football world is littered with stories of great managers missing talent and playing under par players however. I'm going to say it once more however. We need a better keeper. Collins is ok and good on a good run of form. We needed to focus on this position as a number one priority preseason. There simply has to be a keeper with experience who we could purchase for several hundred k and would love to come to us. Doesn't there?

bigger issues than Roos im afraid. Young Ward hasnt had a kick following a bad 45 against MK. Thorpe gets 9 min. We have been here before many times with young players, got to change. Also, I couldnt get yesterday so can someone tell me, do the stats reflect our play in the way i read them? Forest made 14 headed clearances to our 7, was the ball just humped up to Derbyshire all day? If so we have a serious tactical problem :(

Blimey Kempo, better not let the gang on MM know that you do seem to have understanding and compassion for a young goalie afterall, otherwise you might get em thinking you were winding them all up !

I have a certain reputation that I work hard to uphold.

I love the irony of the mock indignation caused by simply giving the keeper a tabloid type nickname when all the disgraceful stuff written on there passes without comment.

I quite understand. While I was a regular viewer on MM, I was not a regular poster. More often than not my posts were either misread or they just didn't get what I was about as a result I could almost hear the jeering derision and the joiners amongst them knocking up a cross to nail me to. I am therefore familiar with you repartee.

Nice one

Towdlad, those of us who know him best have long celebrated Kempo as the Albert Schweizer of Canklow.  To have risen from such humble beginnings to owning his own caravan at Skegness says it all and the Ritson gang's loss is humanity's gain.winkwinkwink
