What cheesed me off more than owt

Mk were chasing after everything, not giving us a moment on the ball.

Like we used to do..

Now hoof it up the field and hope then sit back for the onslaught.

absolutely terrible today..

Roos was fine against 05 but woeful today.

No good blaming Evans. Before the game everyone was saying how good the new signings have been.

P.S

One game does not a season make.

UTM.

'Tis true, GHF.
Most everyone were saying how good the new signings had been.
I will be keeping the faith right to the very end of the season and beyond.

What cheesed me off more than owt is the distinct lack of fight after the third goal for the rest of the game!!!

I hate to disagree but it's simply not true.  I argued long and hard on another site that the new signings were in fact completely unproven and that none of them were imo as good as Morgan, Arnie, Pringle and Martinez.  Evans has no idea and the bookies to do not shorten a team's relegation odds from 9/4 to 6/4 because they are signing a load of BETTER players.

When the Millers played against Leicester in the pre-season friendly they were passing the ball much quicker to one another. Yesterday there seemed to be a lot more hesitation especially in front of goal.

Very true, Andy.  I confess to being quite optimistic after our pre-season.  Yesterday was a shock to the system.

The defeat yesterday to M.K.Dons has well and truly brought us all back down to Earth with a great big BANG!

Weren't we all a bit too positive in thinking that this current squad was possibly the best we've ever seen wearing the Miller's shirts?

I was even contemplating having a wager on us to finish in the top half of the league.  confuse Thank goodness I never bothered.

All is not lost though because we've seen it all before where we've got off to a "dodgy" start yet picked up later on in the season, so I've still got faith in 'em.

These players may be some of the best to wear the shirt but if all they are doing is watch the ball sail over their heads to a relativley short CF then they are never gonna show !

That's so true Gaz.

I've a feeling that we'll not be playing route one tactics against Cambridge though, so we should see a bit more passing and keeping the ball on the floor, hopefully.
