Remember a few years ago when all Millers fans were creaming themselves when it was revealed that we got £1m for the transfers of Will Hoskins & Lee Williamson to Watford?
Fast forward to today when Chesterfield got a reported £1.3m for forward Sam Clucas from Hull City. From what I've seen & heard of Clucas, he's an OK lower division forward/Attacking midfielder & completely untried at Championship level.
We have supposedly got a "superb deal" on the sale of Arnie to Malmo, but I'd hazard a guess that it's a lot less then half a million.
The point I'm making here is the same as most Millers fans have been making for the past 30+ years, why do we always seem to produce players or resurrect their careers & then sell them on the cheap??
