Gotta be Wood. Obviously not done enough behind the scenes to impress, 2 decent appearances last season but out the side as fast as he came in. Such is the life of a footballer eh. Glad we've got Rawson for a big chunk of the season, will wait and see about Kroos though. We are looking much stronger now though, and we're going to need to be. The lower 8 of the championship were really poor last season. I don't think we'll have the luxury of what went on the 1st few months of last season and all those sackings. Well done TS for backing the manager! -Still a little concerned about strikers, we've got nowhere near the calibre that for example the Portuguese dude the pigs have signed, he looks an outstanding player. But if they're charging £45 a ticket for the privilege they can keep it!

Ex - considering all your posts on a relative basis, I conclude that you're feeling quite excited by the closed season signings and the possibilities for next season? In Rawson and Thorpe I suggest we have the Championship equivalent of Pallister/Bruce or Adams/Bould. We now have creativity and pace in midfield with White and Ledesma and up front, Derbyshire and Ward will be relishing the potential service they'll get from Ward Jnr. All around the pitch we have experience, skill and choice and I reckon SE's most difficult task will be who to leave out. If this is not the most promising season for RUFC in decades, I'll eat my season ticket.
