Welcome Grant Ward.

He`s certainly got an eye for goal.

Six months loan should suit both club and player.

Well done Mr Evans.

Looking forward to seeing him play.

Hope he can have the impact for us that the likes of Bamford and Pritchard have had for our rivals - rather than the lack of impact we've had from our previous big club youngsters such as Diagoraga, Pettigrew, Randall, Morgan and Swift, most of whom arrived to similar levels of optimism.

I guess the recent success of Martinez (and to a lesser extent Reece James) suggests that we're getting a better calibre of loanee from the big boys now.

The good thing about Ward is that he's been on loan elsewhere and done well, I am not sure if any of the above failed loanees had any prior football league experience.
