Shut up now Pringle or accept the backlash when you arrive at New York Stadium with Fulham. I and a number of other Miller's have wished you well in your future career but your constant bleating about Rotherham and Steve Evans in particular is beginning to wear a bit thin. I always knew that you had a tendency to act like a silly little boy at times and now your proving it. Just shut your mouth and grow up.
The facts as I see them. Pringle has a world class left foot. That's it. He has average stamina, speed, strength or ability other than his crosses. Basically he has one brilliant asset, he can cross a ball. The rest he is average at. League 1 standard on every other aspect but premier league at crossing. Just scrapes by as a championship player.
What he says about Evans - well yes he does rant and rave and swear....would we have come back from 2 down at Wembley if Evans had gone round giving cuddles and saying 'there there' ? I think not.
Statistics like Pringle set up most of our goals are nonsense. I am 50 years old but if I took every free kick and corner for a season I would get just about the same number of assists....and I can play with both feet.
A friend of mine went to the staying up party and spoke to Frecks and Pringle. She said that Frecks was a lovely man and that Pringle said that he hated Evans and that he wanted out. Fair enough....until he kept going on and on about it. She said he was a full weight ****.
In conclusion I have many fond memories of Pringle at League 1 and league 2 level but I think he struggled at championship level.
When Evans thought the same and was prepared to sell him to Millwall Ben got the face on and has acted like a mardy school kid since.
Do I want a mardy school kid to play for the millers? Nope.
