Tony Stewart on next season and transfer spending

Page lead in today's Star folks.

Thanks for the tip on using a link, Exetermiller. I'd much prefer to do that but can't find the paperclip-type icon you mention for the life of me!

We are never going to know what the actual budget is and how its applied, so we have to guess from what we see.

However, we can see that we have done a great job in terms of investment and income/expenditure since TS took control.

Rumours are that we are spending more on players this season, which must be a step in the right direction, though value for money is the key consideration.

Im not sure that finishing 10th is based on evidence I have seen. I think aiming to stay up is more realistic, but of course no one says that publicly.

Think we just have to wait and see personally more optimistic esp if we get a couple more decent signings. I feel Derbyshire for one will start a lot better than he did last year.
