Yes they have both gone. More shopping to do. Not so bothered about pringle think he is more suited to div 1 but I did like Morgan's heading. Perhaps we will get a centre half who can score.
According to what Evan's is saying on the official web site they are off. Good luck to both of them.
im not in the mood to wish em luck.
Of course, i dont know what they expect, or will get offered elsewhere so, if its loads more then fair play. However, i cant help feeling that both players have been a little naughty with comments to try and leverage more cash out of us.
if they are disappointed they should keep it to themselves as the club has to work in budget and noone wants to come across like a raheem sterling; (im talking of morgs interview where he said the club should pay more to stay in the division).
secondly, pringle, as i have noted many times on the board, has an attitude at times and has been critical about the clubs finance as well when he critisiced us for not payiing Agard more, so, I guess hes all about cash.
At the end of the day its good enough for the other 10 players we have.
I applaud Tony and RUFC for not being held to ransom by agents and arrogance.
Im sorry if I am being too critical but there are some facts as well as mere speculation in what ive said.

As long as they are replaced by better players it's ok, thought Pringle had reached his limit though a fantastic crosser of a ball.
well, ive always been hot and cold with pringle. On his day he is an absolute asset but for more than half the season he was too weak. Also, the team shape has to favour him and to some extent he has been 'looked after' at RUFC.
At times this year, ive thought he has been a liability and other times he has pulled the game up and got us going.
Overall (deep breath) I think im not too fussed, but we need a more powerful, skilful and faster (shouldnt be difficult) player with an eye for the pass which, pringle certainly had.
Here's the thing. If we can't match the wages of these players then who can we attract. Is the going rate just too much for us or are these two just being greedy. Bolton obviously have offered Morgan more than we were willing to offer and as for pringle well I'm with Ian, nice left foot on his day but couldn't head, stick with a player, tackle and his corners were always beyond the back post. Perhaps we will score more from corners now. I'm transgressing. Back to the point, I'm hopeing that we could afford their wages but think we can get better players and vfm elsewhere. It's looking like a whole new team again, keeper, full backs and wide players. Will be nice when we can just tweek a squad instead of whole sale changes, I've only just got used to last seasons team now we are gong to have 4 thingamys and 2 Whatchamacallhims . Never a dull moment being a miller. Fourth from bottom looks a good Finnish again.
Thanks to Morgan and Pringle for their efforts on behalf of the Miller's over the last three years. I never get too upset when players move on, it's part of the game. If they think they can do better elsewhere good luck to them, they may well find that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence though. We now need to concentrate our efforts on injecting some pace into the back line. A younger centre back to play alongside Wood or Broadfoot is what's needed. It would be nice to see Rawson back but that is probably unlikely. I think Pringle is going to be less difficult to replace, yes he has a sweet left foot and we will miss some of his deliveries into the box but he also has his limitations at Championship level. I would like to see him replaced by an out and out wide man with some pace, but given the Gaffers perceived aversion to wingers, who knows.
What is certain is that we need to bring some quality into the squad and given our budget that is easier said than done. It's going to be an interesting few weeks on the player recruitment front, that's for sure.
Pringle confirmed weeks ago to me that he hated SE and would not be signing a new deal. Pity they couldn't resolve issues other than financial. Ben is a little hot head and for me we shall miss his fantastic crosses. That said, Ben was a little slow, couldn't tackle if his life depended on it and that created spaces for the opposition to exploit. Maybe he could have improved as time went on and another season with us would have helped that. Ben is not quite as good as he thinks he is and a sensible approach would be for him to iron things out with SE and re sign.
I think with Morgan, he would have re signed and still might. But we have to remember, he is 30 next month and rightly so, he needs a 2 -3 year "good" deal for himself and his family. Played really well post Christmas but our defence shipped in 67 goals last season. Not saying Morgs was to blame of course but we cannot continue to have teams score against us so easily. I would have preferred him to sign but at 30, he may start to get worse not better and so this may be our opportunity to get a young CB of quality that can form part of the spine of our team. Morgs a very good League 1 player for sure.
I'm sure it hasn't gone unnoticed by fans that SE uses psychology a lot when making communications and I do wonder if this statement is part of his mind games?
Im not fussed either tbh. Broadfoot looked more of a threat in the opposite box those last 10 games Morgan has done in his entire stay. I didn't subscribe to captain fantastic either. Yes for the most part he could be reliable but he also made glaring errors which had he been Arni would have been castrated for. Long balls also come from him most of the time. If Broadfoot carries on trust me we will be saying Morgan who? As for Pringle he had his moments but yes I would agree he probably sees himself better than he actually is which is a decent L1 player. If we are to insist on 4-2-3-1 again he is not the player for this. Those wide in the 3 need pace as it is a counter attack system. Got a feeling Danny Ward will make that position his own. We do need a whole squad nearly again dont we, but those of with foresight knew that already for one reason or another. Derbyshire isnt an answer to anything, we need a target man, have no left back or right winger whatsoever, need a bigger presence than Collin, Richardson, Green are past it and even the jury is still out on Frecks as hes missed so much. Hence new team. One of the many things SE will not have learned due to cir***stances of all their managerial posts is long term progression & recycling a squad and that is very concerning. The CH looks hell next season and thats before the others get their fat wallets out. This summer is massive for us & it seems there's too much to do not only pressuring our fragile resources but going over that line and changing so much you lose all harmony. Think SE will need a helmet soon not a sombrero!
Morgan along with Arnason, Smallwood, Derbyshire & Ward are lower to mid-table championship players. Wouldn't put Broadfoot/Wood at that level. Pringle on his day could be but there weren't many matches last season when he was.
Looking at the squad going to need Keeper, Right & Left backs, 2 Centre backs, 2 wide men, a Striker with some physical presence + some cover on the left.
