Luongo and Garner

We have shown an interest in both these players last season. A reported bid of 600k was rejected for Luongo and SE has certainly cast his eyes over to lancashire a few times.

Both these players of course will be competing against each other on sunday, so, 2 questions:

1. which, if any would you prefer a bid for?

2. How much would it take to tempt the selling club?

Luongo was signed from spurs for 400k in 2013-ish, on a 3 year deal.

Garner is coming to the end of his contract in the summer (1 year option clause)

Would have to be a bid for Garner for me Ian, he could well be the striker we have been lacking. I think he would be the one to get us 20 plus goals per season. But I think it really depends on whether or not Preston get promoted, if they do I think Preston will break the bank wages wise to keep him where he is. If not we may have a chance of signing him. But I think we will have to rethink our policy on wages to pull it off.

Wouldn't go for either. We've got central midfield players, need width. Need some physical presence up front.

Got a mate who is a Swindon fan and he reckon Luogano off to the Prem for 2 million.

Think we missed the boat with luongo he's premiership bound with villa reportedly interested. As for Garner I would love to see him here and think he would fit into our wage structure or at least not totally blow it out of the water. Money available to buy him so go get him I say

It's a pity we couldn't sign him earlier. We would have made a mint.
