Unfortunately his Grimsby side were beaten on penalties by Bristol Rovers in the Conference playoff final at Wembley this afternoon.

I'd have loved the Mariners under Hursty to have been promoted, maybe next season?

Big shame but there is always next year. Great servant to the club.

Paul Hurst a great lad and one of our own.

Three play offs in a row so he must be on the right track.

Grimsby took a good following to Wembley and they should stick with him next season.

Would rather have had Grimsby back in league football and not Bristol Rovers.

Yes great crowd. Bristol rovers are  Always well supported in the big games but doesn't translate to league.
