Yes, Sedgy was a damn good player for us and he was a crowd favourite, along with Monkey (can I say that these days?)!

He's done well to keep playing till his mid thirties, as has Andy Monkhouse!

They've given plenty of enjoyment to lots of fans up and down the country with their trickery and a few goals thrown in for good measure!

Enjoy the rest of your life Sedgy in whatever you choose to do!

When he first came It took me a long time to warm to him, appeared like a Beckham wannabe. But the lad was an excellent player for us and would like to thank him and wish him the best.

Yes indeed, if I'm honest, it was infuriating watching him sometimes when he tried to go past a defender and got the ball nicked off him, but when it came off he looked pure class!

I've seen him have games when nothing would go right, and the crowd would get on his back, but I've also seen him turn a game around with him "skinning" a defender time after time and putting a pinpoint cross in for a striker to meet and power a header into the net, wonderful!!!

Favourite of mine back in the day, good on him, he's had a good career, except when he went to S6, but we'll forgive him that.

Probably the last true winger we had on our books? - Funny thing that half if not more of that Championship side would walk straight into ours. And this league is supposed to be tougher!
