Life seems to be random to some and others have a sense of destiny. It matters little whether you have been successful, happy or healthy, we all come in to this world born of egg, seed and water and we all depart once the mechanisms of the body are depleted.
As the old saying goes, " you're a long time dead".
Of course there are those who believe in an afterlife, and those who believe in a stark materialism. Little is needed to be said of particular belief (religious)-clearly-the energy of life continues or it does not. If it continues, what form does it take?
All our musings over this last 10 weeks have been about the occult: the other; The hidden; the other dimensions. What animates life?
The universe is indeed boring. Just gas and rocks everywhere, and in-between vast expanses of Nothing. Here and there are signs of something else, but essentially if it were an amusement park you bought entry to youd be pretty disappointed.
Not so on the Nostrradamus millers banter prediction league-nothing can be taken for granted.
So, as Douglas Adams suggested in 'the restaurant at the end of the galaxy', who's doing the reservations?
Play the unknown source card against any of your predictions and animate and bring back to life that game from the death!
The unknown source card is worth 2 goals, so place it against any TEAM AND THAT TEAM WILL GET A 2 GOAL START. However, the team has to be away from home and it has to be playing higher placed opposition, i.e. Wolves v Millwall.
If, as a result of your Unkown source card the team wins then you receive 20 Bonus points!!! Making a total of 30 points possible.
N.B. please see my example below for further clarification.
Good luck and may the force be with you.
1. Blackburn 1 v Ipswich 1
2. Blackpool 1 v Huddersfield 2
3. Bolton 1 v Birmingham 3
4. Brentford 2 v Wigan 0
5. Charlton 1 v Bournemouth 2
6. Derby 2 v Reading 0
7. Leeds 1 v Rotherham 3
8. Middlesbrough 2 v Brighton 0
9. Norwich 2 v Fulham 2 unkown source card. making this score 2-4 and thus 20 extra bonus points and if it actually finishes 2-2 it would be 30 points in total.
You get a 2 goal start. If you win by adding the 2 goals on it's 20 points.
But remember it has to be an away team lower opposition than the home team.
All the other rules are the same, I. E. If you predict the correct result minus the 2 goal score you get the usual 10 points.
So, if it were borne mouth v blackpool (lower away team) they start 2 nil up. If the real result is bournemouth 4-3 then you get the 20 bonus points as blackpool will have won 4-5 (plus 2 goals). If you also happend to predict bornemouth 4 blackpool 3 ad the real result then you get the 10 as well.

Some winners and losers to end the final round of the first Millers Banter prediction league.
Most everyone fell into the same trap of final day as many results went Topsy turvy and with the abandonment of the blackpool game even more craziness was thrown in.
Just like the league, once again life imitates football, with the bottom half of the table soundly beating the top half.
Congratulations to One Kevin Kilmore for his first table topping performance.
Andy continued his strong finish to the season but must be ruing his first half lack of concentration.
Town Codger has improved over the last half too and again put in another decent display.
The top half remained tight tot he end too.
Nez, Ian and Millmore Magic all kept pace with each other-It seems there were two formulas at work here, but sadly the curtain has come down too early for some but happily just in time for others.
