Nostradamus may well be the most well known of western popular prophetic voices but a close second is Old Mother Shipton, also know as Ursula Southill.
Her fame was perhaps at its heights in the later part of the 20th century with her name spreading all over the new world. Born sometime in the 15th century in a cave in Knaresbrough she foretold many developments pertaining to technology, civil change, war, natural calamity and visitation by aliens. Her prophecy's came in rhyme (why not) and were thought to be so disturbing that in the middle ages the few copies there were were kept by an elite few in secret (nothing much has changed).
To come are tales of alien takeovers, the destruction of earth by comets and a new civilisation built on a new dimension of inner knowing.
One Prophecy that has been hid since its first utterance in 1599 hints at something that should be of interest to most Millers. Of course, all prophecy by there very nature are told in dark language so as to protect them from vile and depraved minds of those who would exploit the natural order of the universe.
Here is that prophecy:
In time to come a wee one from a Northern land will arise, and bear a twice before kings crown. (scotland-SE, and Ronnie)
upon his head shall sit a light of many suns and moons, and all told may will despise him so. (ASD lighting)
Yet, he shall plunder whats above and below (signing many players) and make an army to defeat the night creatures who have caused such woe. (Owls)
And then in time, shall lead them forth with banter to the promised land. (Premier league/champions league)
Is it me, or does this foretell the millers rising to no1 club in south Yorkshire under the reign of Tony and Steve with the eventual march of victory in to the premier league!
As we can see Mother Shipton was probably the first Miller in history and predicted great things. Now its your chance. Place the Mother Shipton card against any fixture where you think that the half time result will be reversed (from a loss to a win) for a chance to gain yourself an extra 10 points.

Sorry Ian I have put down the Ipswich-Forest game twice in my predictions. I wasn't trying to sneak extra points, looking at my position in the league it's to late for that anyway.

That gives me an idea for the last Saturday of the season!

Sorry to be negative with my Rotherham prediction V Reading but I always thought that our destiny would rest on our last game at Leeds Utd, ever since the fixtures were published, and I still believe it will!

Could be a FL enquiry here, surely the predictions should have been in before the results of the games so as not to have an unfair advantage
