Saw it live and now several times on the FLS and as convinced as I was at the game that it was a stuck on pen. The defender got himself into trouble with a bad touch. Derbyshire cleverly nipped in goal side of him and the defender panicked and took him down in the box. Anywhere else on the pitch that is a foul. To say the ball ran away from Derbs is nonsense, had he not been taken out who knows what the outcome would have been? It was a denial of a clear goal scoring 'opportunity' and a professional foul in old money.
And as for Lenny Rosenior he is as much an expert pundit as I am a brain surgeon!!
Maybe Im just old school. Although seen them given, and I do subscribe to that if that one was against us against anybody it would have been given. Cant help but think it would have been soft though. I would have been screaming at the ref if it had been given against us.
