Nostradamus Millers Banter Fixtures for Saturday 21 st March

With Nez continuing to insist the season is far from over but secretly smiling as he hides his dagger of truth behind his back, the rest of us need to wake up and smell the reality. Nez is your target and anything less is lacking ambition.

This weeks sponsor is Harry Houdini. Despite his skepticism about the after life and psychic phenomena he nevertheless said that following his death if it were possible he would find a way back. To this day seances are held to try and invoke Harry.

The Harry Houdini card reflects the impossible and improbable of escape from lifes pressing and seemingly uncontrollable cir***stances, but of course failure comes with a price. Harry, often escaped death by seconds and the Nostradamus league in a similar vein is not to be taken lightly.

Play the Harry card and receive double points, but there is a twist. If the card is played and you fail to guess anything correctly in that game then 5 points will be deducted. Is it worth it? what would Harry do?

1. Bournemouth 1 Middlesborough 1

2. Brentford 3 Millwall 0 (Houdini)

3. Blackburn 1 Brighton 0

4. Blackpool 1 Leeds 1

5. Cardiff 1 Birmingham 0

6. Charlton 2 Reading 1

7. Huddersfield 2 Fulham 0

8. Norwich 2 Forest 0

9. Rotherham 1 Wednesday 1

10. Watford 1 Ipswich 1

11. Wigan 1 Bolton 1

I wish you would stop getting everyone to "gang up" on me Ian, I take things to heart you know, and I was bullied as a child!

League table updated to 21st march.

The only person to have points deducted this week was yours truly.

The points total was the lowest we have had with no one scoring above 36, which probably reflects the high drama and the unpredictability of the championship-expect it to get worse as we get firmly in to the crazy part of the season.

Its fairly tight at the top between Nez and MM. The rest just need 2 decent weeks and the gap will disappear like a Nun in the Antarctica, although it should be noted Penguins are found in much warmer climes too: Australia, Argentina and South Africa to name but several.

Happy Waddling.

Just as I was getting over last weekend's defeat you go and mention Waddling.

Didn't he used to play for the Owls? smile
