I can see Wigan winning 5 of theirs on the form they are hitting, there is belief in their team now. I think we need 11 points to be sure of staying up that is 3 wins and 2 draws or obviously 4 wins (12 points) looking at our fixtures that will be hard.
Cant see us getting anything from Forest, Middlesborough and Norwich that means we can only lose 1 more.
Pigs will end up a draw and we could draw at Fulham
That means we have to beat 3 from Birmingham, reading, Brighton and leeds
I think today was a real blow to us, all we had to do was draw and we blew it, if we go down it will be this game that did it.
Wigan have won 8 from 37 games. Were very poor against us and you think they will win 5 out of their next 9 games. Six points from 9 games is all we need. Why do people panick when we have a loss. Keep calm, at the start of the season given where we are i would have snatched your hand off.
On yesterday's game Wigan aren't a better team than us so to suggest they are all of a sudden going hit some sort of promotion winning form seems a bit far fetch in my opinion.
Exactly what threat did Wigan actualy pose to us? I think Collin had to make one actual save and that was a deflected shot which looped up in the air (Which was a good save may I add).
We dominated possession, had more shots on target and more corners etc. however the only thing we couldn't match was how many goals Wigan scored and none of them were about tactics. They scored with two quality free kicks plain and simple.
At the start of the season if someone said to me we would be six points clear of the relegation places with 9 games left I would of snatched their hand off. It is well and truely still in our own hands, we do not have to rely on anyone else losing to give us any chance of staying in this division like Wigan have to do. Come on guys lets not get bogged down in negativity lets look at it from the positive side would we rather be in Wigans position or ours?

Wigan have hit form on the road true, but they are a 3 man team with average players making the numbers up. They won't get refs giving them big club syndrome free kicks against other sides like what happened against us.
They may get a couple more wins here and there but so will we. Don't panic.
I remember last year we were getting all the free kicks from refs because we were a big fish in a little pond. This year we are a small fish in a big pond and the refs are pathetically cow towing to the ex prem divers who are so called big clubs. It's pathetic. Wolves, Watford, Wigan, middlesboro are all examples of the refs favouring big clubs. In fact the middlesboro one was so bad I sent an email to integrity@thefa.com to tell them how bent he was. Revell getting Hong kong phueyed and nowt happening and Bowery getting sent off for nowt.
But rant over, we are Rotherham and we are used to playing against 14 men against big clubs.
Fortunately for us we are playing a small club next weekend....unless the ref is in his 60s.
😀

But they have just done 4 on the bounce away from home.
There are 2 wins between us. It's going to be tight.
It's not so much that they win 5 or even 4 it's whether we can win and pick up draws because we are so Inconsistent at this stage.
That goal average is mighty important now.

Well if they do catch us then their goal difference will probably be better than ours. I would rather be us than them though it is going to be squeaky bum time.
