time to think now. Bad result, yes, catastrophic? No, at least not yet. We need to take this on the chin, get Danny Ward fit & back in the team ASAP, & move on to Forest on Wednesday, but we could do with Watford doing us a favour at the DW on Tuesday.
PS; Why does fate decree that all our best first half chances fall to Green? TBH he could have been our top scorer if he'd have taken the majority of chances that have come his way!!
The Green magnetism is both worrying, but in essence insanely bad coaching. We noticed months? back Greeny was getting in where it matters, is he doing finishing coaching? not by the looks of it.
Today was never going to decide anything, but as in Rotherham tradition - we must do it the hard way, we seem to be bored of making life easy for ourself. What could have been a virtually staying up party with a win over Wednesday now looks like it could put us right back in trouble, especially if they (and they have it in them) turn us over.
I've a feeling 48 points might just be the breaking line, so we need 2 wins and 2 draws from somewhere, anywhere! - we are capable, to get at max 2 wins and a draw from the last 9 would be an absolute disaster & form like that, we'd deserve to go down.
Keep the faith, but carry a spare set of underpants!
Harsh on Green Ex, he's a midfielder for a reason, i know he should score more with the chances he's had, but it's not all about the coaching, it's a natural ability.
It's a worry. When we have a chance to put it to bed we fail again and again. Fact is wigan form is on the up and ours is as it was. With a better goal difference there is no cushion on the second win now.
Yesterday was poor. From my point if view we never looked like scoring and the second half was quite poor, so I find myself disagreeing with SE. Sure we had chances but we didn't look like a team at any point who were going to win that game.
