That's what happens when you get a bunch of tie wearing pensioners slurping whisky at the club and agreeing to get rid of the best players in order to get their Eton pals' nephew a place in the side. Either that or the selectors are myopic. Closed shops never work. __________________

It's a mess isn't it. I don't think we can be seen as a cricketing nation anymore. I think participation is at an all time low, therefore the quality coming through just isn't good enough which is a real shame. Why isnt Cricket or at least the highlights shown on the Beeb? Some younguns wont know what Cricket is cry
