The Wigan Game

Funnily enough, I don't now think we have to win this one, although I would dearly love us to. Still think we will be joined by Reading and possibly Huddersfield as potential relegation prospects. Fulham seem to be struggling for points too.

I'm going for another 2-1 win, but I hope we don't have to come from behind again.

I think it's a must win as both wigan and Millwall could be back to 6 points otherwise.

We need to maintain a big gap.

As previously posted Check out the table fron this time last year-9 points ain't enough, and 6 Deffo ain't.

I still thinks it's us plus the bottom 3.

Its a must not lose game, Wigan and millwall have very tricky games coming up

Wigan

Away to Millers then: H to Watford, H to Bolton, Away to Boro', H to Derby, Away to Fulham, Away to millwall, H to Brighton, H to Wolves and finish with Away to Brentford.

millwall

Away to Bolton, H to Brighton, Away to Brentford, H to Charlton, Away to Blackburn, H to Watford, H to Wigan, Away to Cardiff, H to Derby, and finish with SAway to Wolves.

A lot of hard games there for these two, I cant see many Wins for either Club. And they have to play each other too.

Remember every time they dont Win thats another game gone biggrin

Both look to be a nightmare to be honest Ian, I cant pick one over the other?  Id rather have ours, and the 9 point gap though m8  smile

I really cannot predict a coin toss at the moment. No idea.

We need to play to our strengths. We now have enough quality in the team to fend off most anything that Wigan might hope to throw at us.

I think Wigan's remaining fixtures look the toughest, and I think their fans will be looking at their game at our place as a very winnable one, and if they lose, that it'll confirm their destiny!

I've been watching football for far too long to confidently say we'll be safe if we beat Wigan, because I always remember the season where we needed to lose our last SIX games while Halifax needed to WIN theirs, and guess what happened? ... unbelievable you'd think but it did happen, and down we went!

So while ever it's still mathematically possible for us to go down, I will still be worrying myself silly!

It's a silly old game you know!   no

Yes I tend to agree that on paper my first reaction is that wigan have the slightly toughest last 10. One other thing will be the place the current teams occupy when the fixtures roll around, quite a few may have little to play for, or be conserving their energy for play offs.

As andy says we look ok again at present but wigan are doing better away from home.

Difficult still to say for certain and as TC says, it's a funny old game. Which is why we love it. 😂

Okay here goes. Do not pick any of  the following numbers for Saturday's Lotto.

In no particular order.  40, 44, 6, 17, 9 and 31

So, now you have only got to choose any six from the remaining 43 numbers.

Good Luck!
