Whatever happens Ian don't cancel your end of season hospitality package. We all need to treat ourselves after any season watching the Miller's. One of the best holidays that I ever had was when a group of us got together after Rotherhams last relegation from the Championship and went to the Costa Brava for a week to drown our sorrows. We called it a relegation party all though I have to admit it had originally been booked as a celebration of Rotherham staying up. I only tell you this Ian, not because I think the Miller's will be relegated, but rather to point out, as a Miller you have to make the best of every situation. Enjoy the hospitality package mate whatever happens.
I took the kids once and they ate nothing and they only got £10 off.
Not be doing that again.
I took my Daughter to a game when she was about 5, shes 25 this August, anyway at HT we went below the main stand and had a cup of tea, there were a couple of biscuits on each saucer which was a bonus. I had a word with a friend and looked round to find my Daughter sat in the corner with the lid of the Tin of Rover Biscuits to her self! You cant take them anywhers
well, it was our third time (one each season) and it was of course a cracking game.
Our seats were the best we have had being directly behind messers Evans and Raynor and what a performance they put on. The passion, anger; readiness to jump to the cause and incredible awareness of everything that was happening was very impressive. The management of hunt and that little break evans orchestrated to get his troops back in formation was sublime management in the heat of battle-He would have made a great war time commander.
Previously we have gone for the two course but opted for 3 this time and I have to say it was worth the extra with the waiter/waitress service. They were incredible prompt and attentive with food and drink with hardly 10 minutes passing before being asked if another drink was required by anyone.
always had a good time but even better service this time.
Brecks as always is a great host and nice stories from the old players-truly touching.
Good as always to see a few of the players come in afterwards (arnie, ward, morgan, bowery and chat with the fans etc.)
First time ive seen Broadfoot and he is as fit as a butchers dog and looks like a street fighter.
